Today’s video is from the Bridges Trio, who have an expanded line-up that includes the pedal steel of David Soler and Chris Cheek on tenor sax. The trio has a new album out, South Lamar Boulevard, from which this is the title-track. Their mix of folk and jazz, expressed with a seaside serenity, is just about as pretty as it gets. I’ll be reviewing their album tomorrow, Monday, so here’s a little taste of what’s in store.
Recorded live at the Nova Jazz Cava de Terrassa on October 5th, 2013.
Your video personnel: Alfons Bertran (drums), Guillem Callejón (guitar), Dimas Corbera (double bass), Chris Cheek (tenor sax), and David Soler (pedal steel).
Video produced by CRIT.
Have a great Sunday everyone!
