Today’s featured video is from guitarist Bill Frisell, performing at the NPR offices as part of the Tiny Desk Concert series.
When this performance occurred, Frisell had released All We Are Saying, his 2011 album that focused on the music of John Lennon. He performs many of those songs here in a solo set.
Even more interesting than the music are Frisell’s comments about the Beatles and music. That part begins at the 10:40 mark, which he follows with a rendition of “Strawberry Fields Forever.”
